Accessibility Statement
AlphaGen Holdings Limited ("AlphaGen")
Companies House no. 17084844 — registered in England and Wales
Effective date: 2026-04-27
Version: 1.0.0
Contact: accessibility@alpha-gen.ai
AlphaGen is committed to making the AlphaGen AutoAnnotation
System, the AlphaGen mobile application, and our marketing
website at https://alpha-gen.ai usable by everyone, including
people with disabilities. This statement explains the standards
we target, our current conformance level, and how to reach us if
you encounter a barrier.
---
1. Standards we target
| Surface | Standard | Conformance level | Re-assessed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Marketing website (alpha-gen.ai) | WCAG 2.2 (W3C) | AA | Annually + on every major redesign |
| Customer portal (portal.alpha-gen.ai) | WCAG 2.2 + EN 301 549 | AA target | Annually + on every major UI release |
| AlphaGen mobile app (Android / iOS) | WCAG 2.2 + Mobile Accessibility Guidelines | AA target | Annually + on every store release |
| Operator dashboard (dashboard.alpha-gen.ai) | WCAG 2.2 | AA target (operator-facing; some advanced data-visualisation pages remain AA-partial — see §4) | Annually |
We additionally track the European Accessibility Act 2025
(EAA) requirements for products and services accessible to
consumers in the EU, and the UK Public Sector Bodies
(Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility
Regulations 2018 baseline.
---
2. Current conformance status
This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA. The
"partially conformant" rating reflects two specific areas where
work is in progress:
- Operator dashboard advanced visualisations. Some data-
dense panels (e.g. the World State 3D viewer, the
Conductor selector heatmap, the GNN-VAE latent-space plot)
currently rely on visual encoding that is difficult for
screen readers to convey meaningfully. We are building
text-equivalent summaries and keyboard navigation for these
panels — target completion 2026 Q4.
- Mobile HITL games. The drawing / masking gestures
inherently require visual + motor input. We provide a
simplified screen-reader friendly variant for the Discovery
and Salience modes; the Masking mode is currently only
accessible to users who can perceive and manipulate
visual content.
Everywhere outside §2.1 and §2.2 we conform fully to WCAG 2.2
AA — including the marketing website, the customer portal sign-
up flow, billing pages, support / contact forms, and the
public-facing privacy and legal pages.
---
3. Specific accessibility features
3.1 Marketing website + customer portal
- Semantic HTML5 landmarks (
header, nav, main, footer). - Skip-to-content link on every page (visible on focus).
- Keyboard-accessible navigation; no mouse-only controls.
- Visible focus indicator (3:1 contrast minimum) on every
interactive element.
- Text-to-background contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for body
text and 3:1 for non-text user-interface controls.
- Resizable text up to 200% without loss of content or
functionality.
- Form fields with explicit
<label>association and inline
error messages announced via aria-live="polite".
- All non-decorative images have descriptive
alttext. Purely
decorative images use alt="".
- Videos have captions; longer videos have transcripts
available on the same page.
- Animations respect
prefers-reduced-motion— pulses, drift,
and parallax effects are disabled when the operating system
reports a reduced-motion preference.
- Plain-language guarantee on legal pages: every paragraph that
imposes an obligation on the user is restated in plain
English in a "What this means" callout.
3.2 Customer portal — additional
- Tables include
<th scope>for row and column headers,
keyboard-navigable sorting, and a "view as list" mode for
screen readers.
- Charts include a tabular fallback accessed by toggling "View
data" on each chart container; the underlying data is
available as CSV.
- All status-change notifications (job complete, deletion
confirmed, etc.) are announced via role="status" so screen
readers pick them up without taking focus.
3.3 Operator dashboard
- Same structural conformance as the customer portal.
- The advanced visualisation panels (§2.1) have a text-summary
side-panel that lists the entities, relationships, and
numeric values shown. Summary is updated in lock-step with the
visualisation.
- Hotkey legend is documented at
https://alpha-gen.ai/legal/keyboard-shortcuts.
3.4 Mobile app (Android / iOS)
- Compatible with system-level screen readers (TalkBack,
VoiceOver) for navigation, form input, and submission flows.
- Dynamic-type compatible; respects the OS font-size setting up
to 200%.
- High-contrast theme respects the system "increase contrast"
setting.
- Closed-caption support for in-app help videos.
- Touch targets ≥ 44x44 dp / 44x44 pt.

4. Known limitations
We are honest about the gaps:
| Area | Limitation | Target fix |
|---|---|---|
| World State 3D viewer | The orbiting 3D scene relies on visual depth perception. We expose an entity list and relationship table alongside; the entity list itself is fully accessible. | Q4 2026 — text-narrated playback that announces entity counts, relationships, and gaze focus per frame. |
| Conductor heatmap | A 2D grid of cells coloured by selector confidence. Colour-only encoding. | Q3 2026 — add per-cell numeric overlay + a "view as list" alternative. |
| LoRA training plots | Live-updating per-epoch loss / IoU charts. | Q3 2026 — keyboard-accessible chart navigation (left / right arrow steps through epochs and announces values). |
| HITL mask drawing | Inherently visual + motor task. | Permanent limitation; we offer the Salience and Discovery modes (audio-only / text-only paths) as alternatives. |
---
5. Compatibility
The Services are tested against:
- Browsers: the latest two major releases of Chrome, Edge,
Firefox, and Safari at the time of each release. Internet
Explorer is not supported.
- Screen readers: NVDA + Firefox, JAWS + Chrome, VoiceOver +
Safari (macOS and iOS), TalkBack + Chrome (Android).
- Mobile: Android 12+ and iOS 16+.

7. Assessment
This statement was prepared on 2026-04-27 following:
- An internal expert review against WCAG 2.2 AA conducted by
AlphaGen Engineering's accessibility working group;
- Automated testing using axe-core and Lighthouse on every
commit to the marketing site and customer portal;
- Manual testing with NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack on
representative user flows.
A full external accessibility audit by a UKAS-accredited
accessibility consultancy is scheduled for 2026 Q3 and the
findings will be reflected in version 2.0 of this statement.
---
8. Updates
This statement is reviewed at least annually and after every
major redesign. Material changes are recorded in the document-
control table below and announced in the Privacy Policy
Changelog.
